Naturo Nitro Inciner8R Fat Burner Review

Inciner8R is a fat-burner by Naturo Nitro, the brand behind Decimus Pre-Workout, which contains a wide array of different ingredients, some of which may be more effective than others…

Naturo Nitro Inciner8R Fat Burner

Caffeine Anhydrous

Caffeine often forms the basis of stimulant-powered fat-burners, as is the case with Inciner8R, which contains nearly 400mg per serving.

Caffeine triggers the release of a group of naturally occurring chemicals known as Catecholamines which includes Dopamine and Noradrenaline.

Catecholamines are potent activators of lipolysis, or fat-breakdown, so increasing levels of these chemicals encourages more fat-loss during exercise.

Inciner8R contains a pretty hefty dose (400mg) of caffeine.

Choline Bitartrate

Choline is used to produce the neurotransmitter Acetylcholine, which controls various aspects of cognitive function as well as the mind-muscle connection.

Unfortunately, Choline Bitartrate is just about the least bioavailable source of Choline.  We would have preferred to see something like Alpha GPC or Citicoline, especially since Inciner8R only contains 200mg per serving.

Tyrosine is an amino acid that serves as a pre-precursor to Dopamine and Noradrenaline.  In instances where levels of these neurotransmitters are depleted, as is the case in times of acute stress, supplementing with Tyrosine can provide substrate and have a preservation benefit.

It’s important to understand that Tyrosine does not actually “increase” Dopamine and Noradrenaline, as many supplement companies imply, but can be used to maintain adequate levels of these neurotransmitters in situations where they would otherwise be depleted.

In the context of a fat-burner like Inciner8R, Tyrosine isn’t particularly useful, but may subtly support cognitive function via the mechanism explained above.

L-Carnitine L-Tartrate

L-Carnitine L-Tartrate (LCLT) is simply the amino acid Carnitine and Tartaric Acid (the Tartate part).  LCLT is one of the more bioavailable, rapidly absorbed forms of Carnitine so it has been used in severalr studies, some which investigated it’s potential as a fat-burner.

Carnitine plays a vital role in the body’s fat-burning process.  It is required to transport fatty acids into the mitochondria of cells where they can be burned for energy.  For this reason, it is often pushed as a “fat-burner”.

Unfortunately, Carnitine has failed to induce fat-loss in human studies and may only be useful in individuals who are Carnitine deficient where it merely restores normal fatty acid transport, but doesn’t “boost” it.

Bacopa Monnieri

Bacopa is often included in cognitive enhancement formulas, but may have some fat-loss implications in certain people as well.

It has been shown to raise Thyroid Hormone T4 levels in individuals with underactive thyroids, meaning it may encourage weight-loss in individuals with underactive thyroids.

However, Bacopa has not been studied in healthy individuals at this time so it’s not clear whether it really does much in the context of Inciner8R.

Dandelion and Juniper

Dandelion and Juniper are both natural diuretics and may help to shed some water weight, although we caution you not to rely on diuretics as a weight-loss strategy.  Eventually you’ll have to rehydrate, so losing water weight isn’t going to help you stay lean in the long term.

Theanine is non-dietary amino acid which is primarily found in Green Tea alongside Caffeine.  It is the reason why Green Tea does not cause many of the negative side effects associated with other Caffeine-containing beverages.

Several well-structured, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies have investigated the effects of Theanine both in isolation and in combination with Caffeine.

Theanine is quite effective for reducing the negative side effects associated with Caffeine such as jitters and anxiety, while enhancing the benefits such as focus and alertness.

Inciner8R contains 100mg of Theanine per serving, a fairly average dose.

Theacrine is becoming popular in stimulant-based supplements such as pre-workouts and fat-burners (like Inciner8R).

Preliminary evidence indicates that Theacrine, while providing energy and alertness similar to Caffeine, does not lead to tolerance like Caffeine.  We discuss Theacrine in-depth in this article.

Inciner8R contains 80mg of Theacrine per serving.

Citrus Aurantium (Synephrine)

Citrus Aurantium (Bitter Orange) is generally standardized for Synephrine, a beta-receptor agonist which is similar to Ephedrine, but much less potent and therefore much safer.

Synephrine has been shown to increase fat oxidation and boost basis metabolic rate in human subjects.  It is one of the few fat-burning supplements that actually works, so it makes a fine addition to the Inciner8R blend.

Unfortunately, Inciner8R contains a pretty low dose, yielding only 5mg actual Synephrine per serving.

White Willow Bark contains Salicin which, upon ingestion, is metabolized into Salicylic Acid, the same compound behind the analgesic/anti-inflammatory properties of Aspirin.

While Salicin has no clear implications for weight-loss on its own, it has been shown to enhance the effects of Ephedrine (and Ephedrine-like compounds).

The mechanism of action here is via inhibition of prostaglandins, hormone-like molecules which tend to normalize the metabolic effects of beta-agonists like Ephedrine, rendering them less effective.

Salicin has been shown to potentiate the effects of Ephedrine in multiple studies, so White Willow is often used in combination with Synephrine to create a mild version of this combination.

Inciner8R contains 50mg of White Willow, standardized for 25% Salicin.

Theobromine is a chemical relative of Caffeine, but is not psychoactive like Caffeine.  Instead, it functions as a cardiac stimulant which may have favorable implications for fat-loss but needs much more research before we can state that conclusively.

Inciner8R contains 10mg of Theobromine per serving.

Huperzine is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, meaning it blocks the enzymes responsible for the degradation of Acetycholine.  Recall from the Choline Bitartrate section above that Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter which controls aspects of cognitive function as well as the mind muscle connection.

Although Huperzine has no direct fat-burning implications, it makes sense in the context of a fat-burner because it can help preserve cognitive function.

Is Inciner8R Safe?

Inciner8R contains several potent stimulants which the average individual may find to be a bit much.  There is nothing inherently dangerous about the formula, but caution should be exercised with regards to dosing.  Starting at half a serving would be a good way to go.

The Bottom Line

Many of the ingredients in Inciner8R that are supposed to burn fat are either ineffective or just under-dosed.  However, the combination of stimulants present in the formula may be enough to encourage some additional fat-burning during exercise so the overall result may indeed be fat-loss…but you actually have to work out.  It won’t magically burn fat without you doing anything.
