Chizled Labz Unchained BCAA Review

Unchained is a BCAA supplement by Chizled Labz, which contains just four standard ingredients…

Chizled Labz Unchained

The term “Branched Chain Amino Acids” (BCAAs) refers to a group of similarly structure amino acids: Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine.

Leucine is without a doubt the most potent with regards to stimulating muscle protein synthesis and is therefore the most important if your goal is to maximize muscle growth or reduce muscle breakdown.

However, preliminary research indicates that Isoleucine and Valine have their own individual functions which may make them worthwhile.

Isoleucine can potentially help shuttle glucose into muscle tissue and Valine may be able to reduce fatigue caused by Serotonin build up (by blocking the transport of Tryptophan in to the brain).

Unfortunately, Unchained contains just 3g of BCAAs with only half of that comprised of Leucine.  Therefore the above mentioned benefits are far from guaranteed.

Glutamine is commonly used alongside BCAAs, though it is not particularly useful for enhancing muscle growth or exercise performance.  That said, Glutamine may be useful for athletes undergoing extremely rigorous exercise, as it has been shown to play a role in fighting exercise-induced immune suppression.

As with the BCAAs, however, Glutamine is pretty under-dosed in the Unchained formula.  With just 2g per serving, it’s not clear whether Glutamine is of any use at all.

Is Chizled Labz Unchained Safe?

Unchained is entirely safe, primarily because it contains no Caffeine or any other stimulants.
